Cecropia Moth Larvae

So and I have developed a new hobby. Take pictures of everything around us, and look it up later to find out what they are. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm getting good at it.

We found this guy, unfortunately deceased, on the beach while filming the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly (which I'm posting next).

This is a Cecropia moth Larvae, which turns in to the Largest Native Moth in North America. If you look really close, he has colorful knobs on his back, with little spines coming out of them. Using this, I found out his true species. Funny enough, that's the same wording used on a website describing these amazing looking caterpillars.
